Anybody can sell you an arm that goes up and down. What decides whether a garage is worth owning is the software behind it — and this is that software, described plainly, with the caveats left in.
SPARK — The Platform
SPARK is the cloud platform your whole portfolio runs on. Every lot, every lane, every rate, every monthly parker — from a desk, a laptop or a phone. There is no server in a cupboard for your team to patch, back up, or discover has died at the worst possible moment.

Modules are a la carte. If you already run your own validation programme or your own permit office, keep it — we are not going to make you buy a replacement for something that works.
The single operational view. Whole portfolio down to one lane, with the controls to act on what you find rather than just watch it.
Every recurring parker across every site. Bulk changes, access profiles, and no spreadsheet living on somebody’s laptop.
Short-term access issued in seconds by plate, phone number or emailed QR code. The contractor who is here for three weeks stops pulling a ticket every morning.
eValidations against live tickets, emailed eCoupons, and barcoded stickers your tenants print themselves on an ordinary printer.

Roles and permissions down to who may issue a credential. Printing a credential is letting a car in, and it is treated that way.
Why It Matters
Reports built in. Occupancy, revenue, validations, contract parkers, guests — no report writer, no consultant.
The platform supports TIBA hardware going back decades, so a mixed-age portfolio modernises without replacing every lane at once.
Desktop, mobile browser, or the app on Apple and Android — which doubles as a validation unit in a manager’s pocket.

One straight answer, up front: what your sites can actually run depends on hardware generation and software version, not on the brand on the box. We read your estate before we promise anything, and we will tell you plainly whether a thing is available today, needs a software upgrade, or needs a hardware change first. Three different answers, and collapsing them into “yes” is how projects go wrong.
The Self-Service Portal
The console is for your team. The portal is for everybody else, and it carries three products that between them remove most of the reasons somebody walks into your parking office.
Reservations — pre-booked parking, so demand shows up on a screen before it shows up at your gate. Flex Pass — subscriptions and permits managed online, so nobody queues for a sticker. Park & GO — a card on file linked to a plate, so entry and exit bill automatically and the driver never touches anything.
And it is fully white-label. It runs on your website, or as its own site that looks like yours. Your parkers never see a vendor’s name, because it is your parking operation, not ours.

Scan to Pay
Built with Nayax and delivered inside the Self-Service Portal. A parker scans a QR code on your signage, sees the fee, and pays from the phone already in their hand. It is the payment layer that makes ticketless and free-flow operation practical rather than theoretical.

The honest caveat. The Scan to Pay QR runs on X60 entry lanes on software version 25.4 or later, and 25.4 only reached general availability in July 2026. For most existing garages this is an upgrade conversation before it is a feature. If your lanes are X30, it is a hardware conversation first. We check your actual sites and tell you which one you are looking at — before anybody writes a number down.
Ticketed, Hybrid or Free Flow
There is no single right answer here, and anybody who tells you there is has one thing to sell. What suits a downtown deck with a staffed booth is not what suits an open lot, and a hospital campus often needs both at once. SPARK with LPR powers all three models — which means you can change your mind later without changing your platform.
Gates on entry and exit, every movement controlled. Inside this model you still choose your credential: a paper ticket from a dispenser, or ticketless, where the plate itself is the ticket. Same gates, same control, different experience at the machine.
The right answer wherever every transaction has to be accounted for at both ends.
A camera on one side, control on the other. This is where most interesting design decisions happen, and it works in both directions:
No ticket. No machines in the lane. Gates optional. The plate is the credential from entry to exit and payment happens on a phone or against a card on file.
The lowest-friction experience there is, and the least equipment to maintain — with the trade-off that collection moves from the gate to your billing and enforcement model.
That middle option is the one most people have not considered, and it is often the cheapest way to fix the actual problem. If the complaint is a queue at the entrance, gate the exit and open the entry. If the complaint is unauthorised parking, do the reverse. You rarely need to change both ends.
Moving between models is a configuration and hardware conversation, not a new system. A garage that starts fully gated can go hybrid next year and free flow after that, on the same platform, keeping the same reporting history.
Licence plate recognition makes the plate the credential. Paired with the TL-60 — a ticketless station with no printer, and therefore a smaller footprint and far less to go wrong — a garage runs transient parking with no paper in the lane at all.
Your gate opens either way. A dirty plate, a trailer hitch, a Texas downpour — when a read comes back low-confidence, the lane offers a “Press to Enter” button and the driver keeps moving. You choose whether that is always available or only under conditions you set. Ask any vendor what their answer is; this is ours.
Ticketless is not all-or-nothing either. Most customers start with monthly parkers on plate, prove the read quality on their own lanes in their own weather, and expand from there.

We train our technicians and hold spares across the platforms we work with, which is why a read problem gets diagnosed on your site instead of escalated to a vendor.
All-in-one cameras that need no separate server, which makes them the simplest thing to put in a lane and the least to go wrong. Wall, pole or curbside totem. Short range 5 to 15 feet, long range 8 to 35. Three years of GUARD health monitoring ships with every camera, so a camera drifting out of tolerance reaches our dashboard long before it reaches your tenants.
It runs against its own server, which buys substantially longer reach — 5 to 39 feet wide-angle, 16 to 65 feet telephoto. That range is what makes it right on a long approach, an open lot, or a lane you cannot mount close to. SUMMIT handles the monitoring and alerting.
OmniQ, TagMaster and INEX integrate with SPARK on the same terms, and our technicians install and support them. Across these platforms we read a plate anywhere from 5 to 65 feet — which one belongs on your site is a function of lane geometry, mounting distance, lighting and volume, and we work it out during the survey rather than selling you a default.
New Capability

Most drivers in North Texas already carry a toll tag. Using one to open a gate is ordinary — every operator can do it, and we have for years. Using it to take the money is not. We partnered with the toll agency to charge parking directly to the driver’s toll account, and it is live now at a newly opened destination in Frisco.
This is not licence plate recognition. It is the RFID credential the tollway already reads — reliable in rain, in glare and at night, with the driver enrolled long before they ever reach you.
Nothing to issue, nothing to lose, nothing to reissue when somebody leaves. The parker drives in and drives out, and the charge lands on the account they already reconcile every month.
That photograph is our own bench, mid-test, with staged credentials. Which is rather the point: we prove an integration on our equipment before it ever touches yours.
Digital Receipts
Digital receipts replace the printed slip with a QR scan or a phone number tied to the plate. Ticket jams, printer maintenance and paper supply leave the operation entirely.
There are two routes and which one fits depends on your equipment. SPARK has carried digital receipts natively since version 25.3 for the SW-60, CPS-60, APS-60 and VPS-60, switched on per lot. Separately, the Weezmo integration pairs with the TL-60 and adds the marketing layer — turning every receipt into a branded touchpoint that can carry a tenant offer or a property promotion.
New in the Latest Releases
Parking software has moved faster in the last eighteen months than in the decade before it. These are the changes that actually alter how a facility runs.
A single printer-free terminal now handles entry control and payment at the same unit. The parker pays on the way in and the exit becomes a gate that simply opens.
Monthly and reservation QR codes issued encrypted, decrypted at the lane, working with the connection down. It closes the oldest hole in mobile credentials — that a screenshot works as well as the original.
Low-confidence or missing plate read? The lane offers a “Press to Enter” button or issues a ticket instead, on a timeout you control.
The ticketless station can now serve as a monthly validator on its own, which makes a dedicated employee or resident lane meaningfully cheaper to build.
Loops at the main entry combined with AI cameras counting internal zones — real numbers for a reserved deck or a tenant block, not one building-wide figure hiding everything.
The right to send or print a credential is now separate from the right to view records. It sounds small. Printing a credential is letting a car in.
Honestly, it depends — and not in a way anybody can answer from a website. A TIBA system carries three independent version numbers: the cloud platform, the local software, and the firmware on each device. They do not move together, and two garages in the same portfolio on the same login can offer different menus. The real answer is one of three, and we will tell you which: you have it today, you need a software upgrade, or you need a hardware change first.
Security & Compliance
Parking systems take card payments and hold vehicle data, which puts them on a security questionnaire. Here is the position in full, so nobody has to chase it — and so a public buyer can tell in one screen whether they are allowed to talk to us at all.
The TIBA SPARK platform is certified at TX-RAMP Level 2 — the check that has to clear before a cloud service goes near a Texas state agency, public university or public hospital. Associated Time filed and sponsored that certification. We did the work so the platform our customers run would be buyable by Texas public institutions.
The platform also carries ISO 27001, the international standard for managing information security, alongside SOC 2. Those are the audited controls sitting underneath your parking data, your reporting and your user access model. They are separate certifications from TX-RAMP, not the same assessment under another name.
EMV runs through PCI-validated point-to-point encryption. Card data is encrypted at the reader and stays encrypted to the processor. It is never readable on your network and never stored on the equipment.
We integrate with AIMS, so a hospital or university already managing permits, populations and enforcement does not have to run parking twice.
A note on how we word this: certifications belong to whoever holds them. Where a protection comes from a payment partner we say so, because an IT reviewer who asks for the attestation will find out anyway — and that is a bad moment to discover a claim was loose.
