George Bush Intercontinental Airport

George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), joined the Houston Airport System in June 1969. Bush Intercontinental is located approximately 23 miles north of downtown Houston, near the Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8 North)

The airport is operated and maintained by the City of Houston Department of Aviation. The Houston Airport System functions as an enterprise fund and does not burden the local tax base for airport operations, maintenance or capital improvements.

William P. Hobby Airport

The site of William P. Hobby Airport was acquired by the City of Houston in 1937 as its first public airport. The city's second largest airport, Hobby Airport (HOU), has now been serving the Houston community for more than 60 years. Hobby Airport is located approximately seven miles south of downtown Houston, near I-45/Gulf Freeway, the major highway heading from the City to NASA and Galveston Island.

These airports are operated and maintained by the City of Houston Department of Aviation. The Houston Airport System functions as an enterprise fund and does not burden the local tax base for airport operations, maintenance or capital improvements.

Associated Time & Parking Controls recently installed Variable Message Signs (VMS) which transmit vital visual information to customer parkers. The installation was headed by Glenn Rodriguez (Houston Branch Manager),  Mitch Blott (Project Manager) and Chris Loring (Houston Systems Support Manager).
