JVC America uses Attendance
Enterprise™ time and attendance systems, This system is installed in the
JVC facility located in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
JVC America is a leading provider of
videotapes and CD discs based in Tuscaloosa, Ala. With a work force
exceeding 600 employees, accurate payroll processing is extremely
important. An error of just 1% in payroll can cost the company thousands
of dollars and impact employee confidence in the accuracy of their
paycheck.
“Our legacy timekeeping system was
beginning to be a maintenance burden on our staff internally. We wanted
a company with a track record of solid support to their customers to
lessen the internal cost of ownership to JVC,” states Paula Horton,

required in our manufacturing environment and could automate it through

The system uses advanced technology
with Microsoft SQL Server database structure and full Ethernet terminal
connectivity throughout their facility. The payroll hours data
electronically downloads to their Software Plus payroll system running
on an IBM i-Series server. |
